Leigh widows wined and dined

The Leigh Group care team with the assistance of the West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity held a lunch for the group’s widows. In total 17 ladies attended in the Ellesmere Suit at Leigh Masonic Hall and enjoyed a three-course lunch. Assisting with the proceedings were the Leigh Group Almoners, whilst during the afternoon George Seddon informed the ladies about the work undertaken by the care structure team.

The ladies then enjoyed a musical interlude by the delightful Phoenix Ukulele Band to the delectation of everyone present. At the conclusion of a wonderful afternoon each of the ladies were presented with a Broken Column brooch as a memento of the day.
